Roumeliotika bells are the oldest type of Kypri bells, known for their distinctive open-lipped shape, sweet, melodious sound with powerful volume. These bells are crafted using a casting technique, where a blend of copper and other metal alloys is poured into a mold to achieve their unique form. They are commonly used on lambs, goats, sheep, cattle, and mules. The bells can be blended seamlessly with other bells in the herd. Their sound can be easily “tuned” to harmonize with the rest of the herd’s bells. Available in eight different sizes and weights, Roumeliotika bells are designed to perfectly suit both the herd as a whole and each individual animal. Their versatility and timeless craftsmanship make them a favorite among shepherds and livestock owners.
